AFTER your class critique...
Trying to remember everything that goes into a successful design project critique can be overwhelming. Here is a checklist that can help you after your critique:
3 THINGS TO DO AFTER THE DESIGN DISCUSSION:
1- Use worksheets to see what the students have learned about the designs. These worksheets, completed individually, can assess student comprehension better that a critique alone.
2- Have students create a list of questions that can be used for the next critique. Be sure to remind students that the questions should not be specific to a particular project, but applicable to any design discussion.
3- Encourage students to revisit their design if they would like. After hearing a critique, students can make important personal decisions about how to proceed working on their designs.
